Even though some of my final display was made last minute (i.e, the 'make a path to follow' being the red painted footprints) I loved all my pieces, as well as how they all worked together. I tried, when displaying my work, to make my favourites more noticeable/centre next to the big 'reconfigure something' response. I wanted people who viewed the display to 'follow' the foot path up to see the work, going from left to right, then down. This was really successful, as from the reflection I had received back from others, they all had said that it felt as if they were being led right to a mini exhibition/display of my work when they walked through the doorway to the side room, which was exactly what I wanted. I think that the small group reflection we did with each other in the afternoon of that day was really helpful, as it made me face the aspects of my piece which didn't work, giving me more inspiration to do better in different ways for the next project in the week coming, and challenge myself more with it more. I think, from this introduction week/task, the Communication pathway is definitely a strong possibility to go into - particularly Illustration due to the story-telling aspect of it, as well as being able to change mediums/what I'm working with to develop my style. Apart from arranging my own display, what I enjoyed most about the week was getting to go around and see others' responses, too. It was really refreshing to see the other rooms and their own works, and I definitely loved what they had created in the same time - especially when some were so different to what I'd seen !
